Exodus 39 : Finishing the pieces

March 8, 2024 ·

Summary:
All the priestly garments, including the ephod and the breastplate, were crafted precisely as God instructed.

After all the components had been completed, Moses inspected them and, seeing that they were made exactly according to God’s instructions, blessed them.

Key verse:
43. And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it; as the LORD had commanded, so had they done it. Then Moses blessed them.

My thoughts:
The conclusion of the tabernacle’s construction highlights the importance of its execution. The key point is that everything was made exactly as the Lord commanded, demonstrating that the Israelites worshiped in a sanctuary designed to God’s exact specifications.
